Scie-Tech Academy
The Somaliland Academy for Science and Technology (Scie-Tech) was established to meet the educational aspirations of parents and young students in Somaliland, focusing particularly on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). These disciplines are globally recognized as crucial pathways to higher education, promising better future prospects, employment opportunities, and career advancement.
Our key objective at Scie-Tech is to provide young students with a robust foundation in Science and Technology, preparing them to compete successfully for positions in leading international universities. This initiative responds directly to the current challenges faced by primary and secondary schools in Somaliland.
Recognizing the need to enhance learning outcomes, Scie-Tech incorporates extracurricular educational components designed to empower young minds. These include practical teachings such as laboratory work, experiments, field trips, and project development. Additionally, our well-equipped libraries are designed to foster creativity and critical thinking through extensive reading and writing.
We believe that access to proper facilities such as Libraries, Computer Laboratories, Science Laboratories, and adequate teaching materials is essential for nurturing creativity and innovation. These elements are instrumental in unlocking the natural potential of young minds. Through engaging projects and a supportive learning environment, we aim to enhance understanding, inspire creativity, and fully awaken the capabilities of our students. Our goal is to produce outstanding students who are well-prepared and equipped for higher education and future success.
